Protecting your CustomerBase account can be done easily by setting a two-factor authentication (2FA) for login. To manage your security settings, go to 'Security' under the 'Personal' tab on the left-side 'Settings' menu:

You can select whether to create a list of backup codes or enable a feature of getting a one-time code from a special application or to your phone number.

To create a list of backup codes, click 'Create Backup Codes':

A list of one-time codes will be generated for you in a pop-up window. Copy and store the codes in a safe place, as they will not be displayed again for security reasons.
Once you have saved them, click 'OK, I Saved Codes':

The page will then display the number of unused codes. If you want to delete them,
just click on 'Delete Backup Codes':

To enable the two-factor authentication via application click 'Enable App 2FA':

In a pop-up window, follow a link to install an authenticator application for Android or iOS. After setting up an account, insert a 6-digit token from the application.
Click 'Confirm':
